GALIPETTE stems from a long tradition of French cider-making. The apple cooperative is the oldest of its kind in France and brings together hundreds of apple growers across Brittany and Normandy. The members grow and harvest the highest quality cider apples with passion for their craft and a love for their terroir, as these families have done for generations. The name describes a joyous leap forward, a 'forward roll.' Producing French ciders in a contemporary form, made using traditional natural methods, always in thoughtful cooperation with partners, GALIPETTE brings something new to the world.
Galipette Bio:
An organic, semi-dry French cider made from 100% organic apples.
Known for its light, floral “wildflower” aroma and fresh, slightly sweet taste.
Uses mostly bitter-sweet apples, giving it a balanced mix of gentle sweetness and natural tartness with lower alcohol (~4%).
Overall vibe: refreshing, smooth, and easy-drinking—great for warm weather or lighter food
Galipette Brut:
A dry to medium-dry cider with a more traditional Breton style.
Made from a blend of bitter, sweet, sharp, and bittersweet apples, creating a complex, balanced flavor.
Features crisp acidity, light tannins, and earthy apple notes, with a slightly stronger structure (~4.5% ABV).
Overall vibe: crisper, drier, more refined and food-friendly (especially with savory dishes).
