Serving tips: It is perfect with beef, lamb or poultry and can also be paired with salads and cheese. This red wine would go well with almost anything, including just by itself

Grape varietals: 46% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc
Tasting notes: Deep crimson with ruby tints. In the nose it is lively and generous. Its aroma is well rounded with both the essence of cherries and dark berries. Structured and rounded on the palate with a long finish revealing lovely mature tannins, mild and silky. Just the wine to be laid down in a cellar for two or three years to reach its best. It would pair well with any grilled meat, or game dish
About the appellation: Sainte-Foy-Bordeaux is an appellation on the eastern edge of the Bordeaux wine region in France. It produces dry wines, both red and white – it is located outside the natural eastern boundary of Bordeaux region, and just a few miles west of Bergerac.
